She was predeceased by: her parents, Reddin Estel and Viola Guinn Simmons; her husband Leon Edmon Boyette, Sr.; and her siblings, Kathleen S. Boyette and Reddin Oscar Simmons.
She is survived by: her children, Edmon Boyette (Cindy) and Karen B. Creech (Danny); her sister Ola Mae Vann; her grandchildren, Trey Boyette (Kathryn), Lauren Boyette and Matthew Creech (Lindsay); and her great grandchild William Boyette.
