We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2020, at the age of 86, James Vann (Clinton, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Freddie Vann and Ora House Vann; and his brother Gilbert Vann. He is survived by: his wife Helen Bass Vann; his daughters, Helen Raye Vann Smith (Billy) of Salemburg and Robin Vann Heatherington (Paul) of Raleigh; his grandchildren, Sean Smith, Shea Smith, Van Heatherington, Rachel Heatherington and Anna Heatherington; his niece Linda McCullen; and his nephew Randy Vann.
