He is survived by: his wife Esidora M. Butler; his children, Richard B. Butler, Diane B. Harvey (Kevin) and Ellen B. Hancox (Scott); his grandchildren, Sarah H. Sen (Suman), Laura K. Hancox (Nathan) and Luke A. Hancox (Willene); and his great grandchildren, Neel and Kabir Sen.

Memorial donations may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
