She was predeceased by: her parents, Osborne David Strickland and Mary Ruth Callihan Strickland. She is survived by: her children, Holly S. Holloman (Jeremy) of Mt. Olive and Matthew Howard Herring (Katie) of Newton Grove; her grandchildren, Kevin Wayne Strickland, II of San Jose, CA, Brandon Holloman (Danielle) of Provo, Ethan Holloman of Provo, Kimberly Holloman of Mt. Olive, Jaxson Holloman of Mt. Olive, Cameron Holloman of Mt. Olive, Kearstin Herring of Myrtle Beach, Tanner McNeese of Newton Grove and Roman Herring of Newton Grove; her great grandchild Charlotte; and her siblings, David Strickland, Jr. (Connie), Mark Strickland (Charlene) and Ruth Ann Johnson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
