She was predeceased by: her parents, William Richard Evans and Willa Bell Lassiter Evans. She is survived by: her husband Rev. Allen Overton; her son Jeffrey A. Overton (Melinda) of Apex; and her grandchildren, Tiffany Hales (Zac) and Kyle Overton.
