He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Geffrey and Ruth Irene Bennett Nichols. He is survived by: his wife Deborah K. Nichols; his stepson Stephen D. Lewis (Nelda) of El Paso, TX; and his siblings, Rev. Charles Nichols (Ruth) of Newton Grove and Sharon Royal of Clinton. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
