He was predeceased by: his parents, William Paul King and Jessie Mildred Holland; his wife Paulette Welch King; and his brother Maurice Maxwell King. He is survived by: his children, Anthony Ray Honeycutt (Kim), Leonard Scott King (Billie Jo), Timmie Maxwell King (Lesa), Steven Brian King and Michael Paul King (Nicole); his sisters, Mary Jane "Janie" Carter (David) of Houston and Betty Puryear (Frankie) of Clinton; his grandchildren, Rachel Honeycutt Northcutt, Dalton Scott King, Payson Trot King, Carson Layne King, Marshall Graham King and Auriel Nelson; his great grandchild Alex Samuel Rusk; and his close friend Linda Williams.
