She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha Ella and Junious Cox; her siblings, Johnny Cox, Charlie Cox and Maggie Kornegay; and her grandson Daqwon Boykin.
She is survived by: her husband Marvin Boykin Sr.; her siblings, Cleo Cox of Mount Olive, NC and Ashley Cox of Goldsboro, NC; her children, Marvin Boykin Jr. of Clinton, NC, Anita Boykin Brown of Clinton, NC and Towan Boykin of Raleigh, NC; her grandchildren, Thyesha Underwood, Cassandra Rein, Franeshia Brown and Aneshia Brown; and her great grandchildren, Elijah Godfrey, Karter Moore, Karson Moore and Kyrie Campbell. She is also survived by brothers and sisters in laws, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
