She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Padgett, Sr. and Ruthie Bullock Padgett; and her husband Ashley Gray Pearson. She is survived by: her daughters, Joyce Pearson Gainey (Glenn) of Hillsborough and Betty Pearson Hatchell of Myrtle Beach, SC; her sister Shirley Joyce DeBruhl; her grandchildren, Durwood Earl Hatchell, Jr. of Myrtle Beach, SC and Brooklyn Gainey Winters (Mike) of Raleigh; and her great grandchildren, Barrett Winters of Raleigh and Ashley-Glen Winters of Raleigh.
