He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Carlyle Smith, Jr. and Willie Holt Warren Smith; and his brother Dan Smith. He is survived by: his son Jeff Smith (Trina); his grandsons, Clark of Charlotte and Colton Smith of Charlotte; his sister Nancy Cowand (Wes) of Clinton; his sister-in-law Bobbie Smith of Clinton; and also, Wonka and Marin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
