She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Leo McLamb and Mary Lou Lee McLamb; her husband Marvin Elwood Shipp; her siblings, Ann McLamb Rackley, Lucille McLamb Darden and Marion Robert McLamb; and her mother-in-law Estelle Shipp.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Shipp Sinclair (Craig); her grandchildren, Tommy Tyndall, Kenny Tyndall of Bonnetsville and Katie Tyndall Alford (Aaron) of Winterville; her stepgranddaughter Ashley Sinclair of Trinity; and her sisters, Judi McLamb of Clinton, Bonnie Mclamb Noland of Clinton, Dixie McLamb Burgette (Larry) of Godwin and Janie McLamb Lucas of Eastover. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
