It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Sue Boyette Shipp (Clinton, North Carolina), who passed away on August 15, 2019, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her friend Jerry Melvin; her sister Peggy Lee Boyette Brock; her stepchildren, Chris Shipp of Goldsboro, Shelia Nelson of Durham and Kimberly Garason; her close friends, Mable Butler of Clinton and Ann Sutton of Clinton; and her grandchildren, Dwayne Hope, Beth Hope Johnson (Jason), Clay Marsh and Hannah Garason.
