She was predeceased by: her parents, Reddin Estel Simmons and Viola Guinn Simmons; her husband Jamie Lee "Robin" Vann; and her siblings, Inez Boyette, Kathleen Boyette and Reddin Oscar Simmons.
She is survived by: her children, Angela Vann Thornton (Wayne) of Faison and Jamie Reddin Vann (Marie) of Clinton; her grandchildren, Amanda Wright (David) of Faison, Leslie Alderman (Blake) of Faison, Joanna Babson (Bradley) of Shallotte and Amy Warren (Bartley) of Newton Grove; and her great grandchildren, Zannah Wright, Larkyn Alderman, Hadley Alderman, Granger Warren, Bailey Babson and Emerson Warren.
