He was predeceased by: his parents, Pinckney Hugo Heaton, Sr. and Leila Nettles Heaton. He is survived by: his wife Betty Blanton Heaton; and his children, Ronald Anderson (Phyllis) of Clinton, Hugh Heaton (Susan) of Fort Worth, Mike Anderson of Fayetteville and Jennifer Heaton of Wilmington. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
