She is survived by: her nephew Alvin Lee Matthews; her sister Edna Rela Matthews Nowling (Charles); her sister-in-law Ruby Merritt Matthews; and her close friend Alonzo Baggett of Mary. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
