He was predeceased by: his parents, Herny Byrd and Victoria Beasley Barefoot; his wife Annette Jackson; his stepfather Thad Barefoot; his siblings, Jerry Byrd, Wilma Foss and Linda Byrd; and his nephew Michael Byrd.
He is survived by: his nieces, Shelia Byrd Owens (Shelton), Vickie Mangum and Dawn Foss; his nephew Wayne Byrd (Christine); and his sister-in-law Edna Byrd.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Spell-Tyndall Cemetery.
