She is survived by: her children, Mary Kimball (Scott Shemwell) of Houston, Texas and Leslie Waddell Merritt, Jr. (Cheryl) of Zebulon; her grandchildren, Dale Merritt (Katie) and Dr. Brooke Chalk (Kyle); her great grandchildren, Kilah, Kaylyn, Merritt and Draper (Doc); and her siblings, Robert Jeff Faircloth, Jack Faircloth (Betty) and Doris Smith (J. D.).
