He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betsy" McCullen; his children, Deborah McCullen Tyndall of Conway, S. C. and William McCullen of Fayetteville; his brothers, Bobby Kenneth McCullen of Gastonia and Edward G. McCullen of Myrtle Beach, S. C.; his stepchildren, Lynn Hamilton Underwood (Mike) of Clinton, Jack Hamilton (Gina) of Clinton and Don Hamilton (Wendy) of Marietta, Georgia.; his granddaughters, Gabrielle Thornton Kring (Anthony) and Karley Thornton; his stepgrandchildren, Hannah Tyre (Megan), Georganne Underwood Carlton (Matthew), Nicholas Hamilton, Jessica Hamilton, Zachary Hamilton and Adam Hamilton; and his stepgreat-granddaughters, Cate and Ellie Carlton.
