She was predeceased by: her brothers, Dewey Lee Sutton, Bob Steele Sutton and Ferrell "Sam" Sutton. She is survived by: her children, Lynn Stanley Carr (Jackie) of Clinton and Karen C. Gearing (John) of Raleigh; her brothers, Don Scott Sutton of Holly Springs and William Rose Sutton of Youngsville; her grandchildren, Joshua Ryan Pope (Fallon), Camryn Olivia Carr, Matthew Carr Gearing and Emma Sydney Gearing; and her great grandchildren, Taylor Marie Pope and Sara Kate Pope.
