He is survived by: his children, Teddy Knowles (Sandra), Anthony Knowles (Angela) and Cristy K. Willetts (Jamie); his adoptive son David Young, Sr.; his grandchildren, Erica, Austin, Daniel, Chloe, Kaitlyn, Abigail, Christopher, Johnathan, Samantha, Casey, Mary Dale and Karen; his great grandchildren, Isaiah, Hannah, Autumn, Leila, Jasper, Bryson, Gage, Jesslynn, Little Donnie, Zachery and Haley; and his brother Franklin Knowles (Mavis).
