He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Jones and Grace Phillips Jones; his wife Dorothy Fann Jones; his siblings, Florence Hawkins Jones, Frank Jones, James Edwin Jones, Donald Jones, Joel Jones and Willie Majorie Wilkerson; and his stepson John McKenzie.
He is survived by: his son Keith Jones (Leanne); his stepchildren, Jamie McKenzie (Gena) and Jackie Jordan (Glenn); his grandchildren, Kelsey Brinkley (Austin), Jamie Jones, Joel Jones, Kaitlin Jones (Terry), Blair McKenzie, Sarah Thorne (Tristen), Dylan Jordan and Garrett Jordan; and his siblings, Geraldine Campbell and Bernard "Bernie" Jones (Phyllis). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
