He was predeceased by: his father Bertus Godwin; and his sister Sharon Nanagas. He is survived by: his mother Helen H. Godwin; his sister Bonnie King (Roy) of Newton Grove; his brother-in-law Jeff Nanagas of Clayton; and his nieces and nephews, Justin Nanagas, Sean Nanagas, Cassidy King and Ashlyn King.
