He is survived by: his wife Joyce King Shipp; his children, William Glenn Shipp (Glenn), Brenda Shipp Stallings (Ray) and Phyllis Jean Shipp Hedrick (James); his grandchildren, Somer Shipp Powell, Erin Stallings Ruppe (John Paul Ruppe IV), Joan and Joshua Hedrick; and his great grandchildren, Hayden Lyn Stallings, Abigail and Aubrey Ruppe.
