He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Spell and Evelyn Spell. He is survived by: his sons, Gary Spell of Roseboro, Joseph Spell of Roseboro and Jamie Spell of Colorado, CO.; his siblings, Lexie Jackson (Thomas) of Roseboro, Ulanda Dale (Ronnie) of Godwin and Noah Spell of Clinton; and his close friend Janice Tart of Salemburg. He is also survived by four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
