He was predeceased by: his parent Duncan P., Sr.; and his siblings, Donald Hughes and Mary Beth Newbern. He is survived by: his parent Elizabeth Belch Hughes; his sibling's child Beth; his aunt Dorothy Phillips; his uncle Donald Belch; his cousin Joe Van Morris; John.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the building fund of Colerain Baptist Church.
