She was predeceased by: her parents, Raleigh Byrd and Ozie Brown Byrd; her husband Zebulon Hollowell Harrell; and her children, Joseph Michael Harrell and Esther Harrell.
She is survived by: her daughter Phyllis H. Davidson (Kenneth) of Colerain, NC; her grandchildren, Trent Davidson of Colerain and Miranda Harrell of Washington, NC.; and her sisters, Verona DeBaun of Virginia Beach, VA, Artye Powers of Chesapeake, VA and Sylvia Cahoon of Elizabeth City, NC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
