She is survived by: her children, Melissa Watford of Richmond, VA, Joyce Perry of Ahoskie, NC, Kecia Perry of Ahoskie, NC, Wanda Gilliam of Colerain, NC, Lynn Wilkins (Eddie) of Harrellsville, NC, Thomas Perry, Jr. (Tonya) of Colerain, NC and Andre Perry of Raleigh, NC; and her siblings, Janice Freeman of Harrellsville, NC, Joyce Askew, Mary Sue Perry of Philadelphia, PA, Leroy Rankins, Jr. (Lillian) of Philadelphia, PA, Cecil Rankins of Colerain, NC, Marvin Rankins (Lucille) of Aulander, NC and James Rankins (Doris) of Greenville, NC. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, two great- great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
