It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Victoria Jean Phelps in Colerain, North Carolina, born in Grand Haven, Michigan, who passed away on June 7, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father George Huckabee; her daughter Patricia "Tricia" Thomas; her grandson Steven Cale; her husband W. Keith Phelps; her sons, Tony Huckabee (Alessia) of Aulander, Tommy Huckabee (Jo Ellen) of Aulander and Robbie Phelps (Wendy) of Lewisburg, KY.; her mother Patricia Ann Eley Lohmeyer (Bill) of Grand Haven, MI; her grandchildren, Miranda Paige Phelps (Josh Spence), Isaac Cale, Jr. (Donette), Brandon Cale, Reanna Huckabee, Devin Huckabee, Wayland Huckabee, Josh Thomas, Katlynn Phelps, Austin Phelps, Caleb Huckabee and Blake Huckabee; her great grandchildren, Shia, Ryker and Elliott; and her siblings, Jodie Mikesell (Bernie) of Muskegon, MI, Jenny Logan (Mark) of Grand Haven, MI, Wayne Huckabee (Traci) of Grand Haven, MI and Chip Pippell (Jennifer) of Fruitport, MI. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service Ahoskie (205 NC-42, Ahoskie, NC 27910). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service (205 NC-42, Ahoskie, NC 27910).
