She was predeceased by: her parents, Minnie Mae Casey Phillips and Carl Eugene Phillips. She is survived by: her children, Sunday Smith (Brad) of Potsdam, NY, Jacob Takala (Tina), John Mark Mills, Jr. (Arica McCord) of Covington, GA and Justin Mills (Kim) of Castle Hayne, NC; and her sister Emily Steele (Ron) of Concord. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
