She was predeceased by: her parents, Shelton Raymond Smith and Arleigh Matilda Smith (Lentz); and her sister Sarah Gwendolyn Auten. She is survived by: her husband James Kennedy; her sister Carolyn Lentz Sinn; her daughter Angela Godfrey; and her granddaughter Payton Godfrey of Rome Georgia.
