He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold E. "Mutt" Simpson and Fadene Brown Simpson; and his wife Betty Simpson. He is survived by: his sister Vicki Jordan (Richard Jordan) of Concord; his children, Tiffany S. Carter (Richard L. Carter) of Edwards, CA and Brian E. Simpson (Brandi L. Simpson) of Harrisburg; and his grandchildren, Ebbee Kaleeigh Carter and Ashton Michael Simpson.
