She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Carl H. Sloop and Carolyn Fisher Sloop; her children, Tina McClester Pender (William) of Lincolnton and Brian H. McLester of Concord; her significant other Rupert "Rick" Stevens Jr.; her siblings, Brenda Rowland, Lucy Gray, Linda Sloop, Carl Sloop and Harold Sloop; and her grandchildren, Nick Rice, Allison Turner and Kyle McLester. She was also cherished by great grandchildren.
