She was predeceased by: her parents, Ode Fink and Eva Cagle Fink; her husband Edward Lee Burleyson; and her children, Edward Ray Burleyson and Peggy Sue Hicks.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Scotty, Jason, Justin, Joshua and Melissa; and her sisters, Lucille Plott, Hattie Crisco and Caroline Burris. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
