He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Foster Hatfield and Naomi Hatfield; his sister Louise H. Campbell; and his brother-in-law Bennie "Shorty" Waters. He is survived by: his wife Shayne Ritchie Hatfield; his children, Clay Ritchie Hatfield (Nicole), Paula Hatfield Pharis (Joe) and Rhonda Hatfield Rankin (Tex); his stepsons, Brian K. Greene (Jill) and E. Blake Greene (Roxy); his grandchildren, Tori Evans Hughes (Kevin), Reagan Rankin Axtell (Daniel), Ryleigh Dee Rankin, Ryan Bruce Rankin, Brandon K. Greene (Christinia), Tyler J. Greene and Savana G. Greene; his stepgrandchildren, Josh McLean (Hannah) and Kinsley McLean; his great grandchildren, Emmy, Anderson Axtell, Keller Hughes and Adalynn Greene; and his siblings, Ruth Hatfield Waters and Bobby Hatfield (Sara) of Alabama. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
