He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. Hatley, Sr. and Elona Scott Hatley; and his siblings, Dot Garmon, Earl and Don Hatley.
He is survived by: his wife Sybil Simpson Hatley; his children, Kathy Hargett (Danny) of Concord, Kim Gregg (Rick) of Concord and Bobby Hatley, Jr. (Lisa) of Concord; his grandchildren, Jennifer Hargett, Scott Gregg, Brandon Hargett, Kyndall Rice and Courtney Hatley; and his siblings, Lucy Goodman and Bill Hatley. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
