He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher Welch Sr. and Lillie Neal Jacobs; and his brother James Welch. He is survived by: his wife Mary Brown Welch of Kannapolis; his children, Linda Welch, Michael Misenheimer (Martha) of Shelby, NC, Patricia Allison of Kannapolis, NC, Bobby Welch Jr. (Malinda) of Harrisburg, NC and Yolanda Wells of Charlotte, NC.; and his brother Christopher Welch, Jr. of Bronx, NY.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren as well as a host of nieces; nephews, cousins and friends.
