He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Robert Hathcock and Ruth Estelle Compton; and his brother Robert Henry Hathcock. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Hathcock of Concord, NC; his children, Wayne Alexander Hathcock (Gwen) of Concord, NC, Allen Ray Hathcock of Concord, NC, Ann Hathcock Rich (Billy) of Harrisburg, NC and Brenda Hathcock Brown (Kelly) of Concord, NC; his sister Doris Lee Tucker of Albemarle; and his grandchildren, Franklin Hathcock, Luke Hathcock, Hannah Hathcock, Joseph Rich, Aaron Brown, Benjamin Brown, Samuel Rich, Ruth Hathcock and Sarah Rich.
