He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hosie and Mary Smith Simmons; his former wife Mary Charlotte Willoughby Simmons; and his son-in-law James Hathcock. He is survived by: his daughters, Sherry Kimbrell (Richard) of Martinsburg, WV and Mary Delle Hathcock of Charlotte; his fiancée Ginny Watson; and his grandchildren, Chuck Hathcock (Christine), Curtis R. Kimbrell (Chrissy) and SuAnna McCulley (Jason).
