He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl A. Burke and Grace Cashin Burke; his wife Marian Anderson Burke; and his brother John Burke. He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Marie Burke and Julie Ann Burroughs; his grandchildren, Kyle Burke Moran, Riley Grace Moran, Hayden Elyse Burroughs and Camden Emerson Burroughs; his siblings, Daniel Burke (Janice) of Dubuque, Iowa, William Burke (Rebecca) of Des Moines, Iowa, Mary Jo O'Hara (Kenneth) of Boise, Idaho, Thomas Burke (Juanita) of Dubuque, Ellen Kaune (James) of Dubuque and Joseph Burke (Debra) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and also Kevin. He is also survived by his sixteen nieces and nephews.
