He is survived by: his children, David Wayne Cole, Jr., William Robert Cole and Danna Cole Talbert; his close friend Amy Ruhland Cantie; his stepchildren, Spencer Logan Cantie (Sydney) and Taylor Lynn Cantie (Tim); his grandchildren, Cruz Adkins Cole, Halle Brooke Talbert, Dillion Eugene Cole and Billy Peyton Cole; his sister Peggy Cole Smith; his nephew Darren Cole; his great-nephews, Jacob Cole and Shane Cole; his great-niece Taylor Cole; and his former wives, Kimberly Cole Denius (William) and Edith Cavell Cole.
