It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Ann Duryea of Concord, North Carolina, born in Verona, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 13, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Slovak and Susanna Abaray (Pado); her husband Anthony N. Duryea; and her siblings, George Abaray, Michael Abaray, John Abaray, Paul Abaray, Ed Abaray (Joan) and Margaret Rukavina.
She is survived by: her children, Anthony Duryea (Linda), Gary Duryea (Nancy), Dennis Duryea (Bonnie) and Susan Harvanek (Bill); her grandchildren, Jennifer Duryea, Kimberly Gutonski (Don), Emily Mather (Ben), David Duryea (Jessica), Dennis Duryea (Stacey), Scott Duryea (Samantha), Neal Duryea (Jenny), Bill Harvanek, Laurie Herendeen (Lee), Eric Harvanek, Sara Wood (John) and Toni Dailey; and her brother Ray Abaray (Tudie). She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, Russellton or the American Cancer Society.
