Doug Brines Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doug Brines of Concord, North Carolina, who passed away on May 17, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Brines and Irene Bostic Brines; and his brothers, Ted and Ralph Brines. He is survived by: his wife Joan Pickler Brines; his nieces and nephews, Maurice (Teresa Brines), Rusty (Teresa Brines), Jill (Ray Platt) and Ray Carl Pickler, Jr. (Vickie); his siblings-in-law, Jack Stevens and Patty White; and his close friends, Richard Prestwood, Darrell Helms, Brian Freeman and Mike Pruett.

A private service will be held and the family requests no flowers.
