He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Jackson Mullis and Julia Wellborn Mullis. He is survived by: his wife Mearlyn Plummer Mullis; his sons, Eric Christopher Mullis, Thailand and Greg Lamar Mullis of Charlotte; and his grandchildren, Emma, Owen and Hudson. He is also survived by his wife, his two sons, his daughter-in-law, and his three grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the International Mission Board (Southern Baptist Convention), in care of West Concord Baptist Church, Concord, NC.
