It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederica Smith of Concord, North Carolina, who passed away on June 15, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Frederica Smith to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dick and Florence Edwards. She is survived by: her daughter Silvany Cardoza of Concord; her grandchildren, Lorraine James (Oneil) of Concord, Eleanor Barker of New York and Rudolph Barker (Sophia) of Charlotte; and her sister Pearl Wright (GG) of New York. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
