She was predeceased by: her parents, Mathew Rance "Rusty" and Gladys Goodman Mauldin; her husband Harold Lewis Rushing, Sr.; and her brothers, Bobby M. Mauldin and Billy E. Mauldin, Sr..
She is survived by: her sisters, Letha Mauldin of Concord and Doris Mauldin Townsend (Lee) of Temple, TX; her sisters-in-law, Donna Thomson Mauldin of Kannapolis and Beverly Toms Mauldin of Charlotte; and her nieces and nephews, Rebecca, Mira Eury of Concord, Billy E. Mauldin, Jr., Jill Mauldin Jansen, Kraig, Mary Katherine, Brianne Underwood, Hunter, Grant, Kristopher Jansen, Alex Mauldin of Kannapolis, Allyson Mauldin Davis and Matthew Nunn.
