He was predeceased by: his parents, Stowe Cobb, Sr. and Evelyn Sweatt Cobb; his wife Linda Rinehardt Cobb; and his siblings, Stowe Cobb, Jr. and Beverly Chisholm.
He is survived by: his children, Steven G. Cobb and Beth C. Hawk (Jim) of Concord; his grandchildren, Alan Cobb of Cherryville, Julianne and Lyndy Hawk of Concord; and his siblings, Phillip Cobb and Cindy Ross.
