He is survived by: his wife Beth Napier Lindsey of Concord, NC; his children, Lee Ann Lindsey Hopkins (Mark) of Concord, NC and Keith Douglas Lindsey (Christine) of Simpsonville, SC; his grandchildren, Bethany Hopkins Giesler, Lindsey Hopkins, Cameron Lindsey (Kara Jeanne), Connor Lindsey and Kara Lindsey; his great grandchildren, Josiah Giesler and Ezra Giesler; and his siblings, Jim Lindsey (Lynn), David Lindsey (Theresa) and Vicki Lindsey.
