She was predeceased by: her former husband Anton Burch; and her siblings, Florence Shue, Lucille Maxwell, Katherine Aldridge, Carl, Henry, John, Paul, Orlando and Lee Barnhardt.

She is survived by: her daughter Pam Kendrick; her husband Larry; her son Jerry Helms; her wife Pam; her grandchildren, Julie Dooley, Jacqulyn Campbell and Brandon Helms; her great grandchildren, Ryan, Eric, Bristol, Tucker, Caleb and Beau; and her stepchildren, Demi Jo Bengert, Randy Burch and Alan Burch.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cold Springs UMC-Building Fund, 2550 Cold Springs Road, Concord, NC 28025.
