He is survived by: his parent Lola Brown Weant; his children, Elizabeth Cairnes (Rick) of Douglasville, GA, David Weant (Shelia) of Concord and Paul Weant (Denise) of Gastonia; his grandchildren, Ashley Nunn (Brian), Brian Weant (Mary Kate), Amber Sain (Karl) and Blake Cairnes; and his siblings, Marvin Weant (Betty) of Salisbury and Lucille Ketchie of Athens, GA. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
