He was predeceased by: his former wife Carrie Ilene Lefler; and his brother John "Mac" Lefler. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Carol Lefler of Concord; his sons, Don (Cindy Lefler) of New London and Scottie Lefler of Salisbury; his grandchildren, Cody Lefler and Hannah Lefler; and his sister Mary Morton.
